Re-balance, renew and heal with CranioSacral Therapy (CST) -- a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and treating the function of the craniosacral system. During this deeply relaxing and soothing massage, the therapist will feel for the gentler energies and subtle movements of the craniosacral system to evaluate and treat restrictions that cause pain and fatigue. The therapist will assist the natural movement and release of the restriction to help the body self-correct.

What conditions does CST address? What can I expect from a session? Read more >>

Aromatherapy, or essential oils therapy, is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being.

It is used for a variety of applications, including pain relief, mood enhancement and increased cognitive function.

Practitioners of aromatherapy believe that fragrances in the oils stimulate nerves in the nose. Those nerves send impulses to the part of the brain that controls memory and emotion. Depending on the type of oil, the result on the body may be calming or stimulating and can promote relaxation and help relieve stress.

Rolfing® Structural Integration is a Ten Session Manual Therapy that helps realign your whole body by focusing on the connective tissue called fascia, which wraps, holds, suspends, and lubricates everything in your body!

fibromyalgia and massage

PAIN RELIEF: With fibromyalgia, pain may be aggravated by lack of sleep, stress, long periods of sitting or standing, or other physical and emotional factors. Deeply relaxing and comforting, massage shifts your attention to the pleasant sensation of caring touch -- an effective break from unrelenting pain.

STRESS RELIEF: Stress can be a special problem for fibromyalgia suffers, since research shows it heightens sensitivity to pain. Massage calms the nervous system, slowing and deepening the breath, allowing anxiety to fade, and relaxing muscle tension.

BETTER SLEEP: Since poor sleep is common in fibromyalgia and contributes to fatigue and muscle tenderness, improving sleep may be vital.
