Specialty/Focus: I love to work with chronic and complex conditions. The channel theory work I do involves palpating the acupuncture channels for tightness, weakness, and nodules, and putting that together with questions. This helps me hone in on the primary pattern and start there. In addition, a deep shiatsu-based neck release treatment where I work on all the channels that go to the head, is effective for whiplash, tension, headaches, sinus problems, and more.

Personal: I love exploring the outdoors - hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, whatever the season calls for. I have an active meditation and yoga practice.

I find that discussing expectations and treatment goals together with a client is the best way to design a customized therapy plan that progresses towards their enhanced wellness at a safe, comfortable pace, that meets the client's needs.

During treatment sessions, I assess overall body mechanics and strive to broaden the client's awareness of how everyday activities affect the muscles, joints, and overall sense of well-being.
